Privacy notice
Last updated 2026-09-12
Pickle Booking is operated by Digital Pylot Incorporated ("we"). This notice explains how we handle personal information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
What we collect
- Players: name, mobile number, email address, the bookings you make, the GCash reference numbers you enter, and your Messenger ID if you message a venue through our link.
- Venue owners: name, email, mobile, venue and location details, GCash account name and QR image, subscription payments including the screenshots you upload, and, for identity verification, a photo of a government ID and a selfie holding it. These two images are stored privately, seen only by our review staff, and deleted 30 days after the review decision.
- Everyone: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security, rate limiting and fixing errors.
Why we use it
- To create and manage bookings and send confirmations, reminders and cancellations by email.
- To let a venue see who booked and confirm payment. Venues see only bookings at their own venue.
- To bill venue owners and issue invoices required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
- To prevent abuse: duplicate payments, blacklisted numbers, spam.
We do not sell personal information and we do not send marketing email without separate consent.
Who else sees it
The venue you book with sees your booking details. We use service providers for hosting, email delivery and file storage; they process data only on our instructions. Our servers may be located outside the Philippines (currently Singapore). Where that is the case we ensure contractual safeguards with the provider.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept while the venue's account is active and for 12 months after a venue is archived, then deleted. Invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires. You may ask a venue to delete your player record, or contact us.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing, or request a copy of your data. Write to our Data Protection Officer at [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Minors
Bookings must be made by a person 18 or older, or by a parent or guardian on behalf of a minor.
Security
Connections are encrypted, secrets are stored encrypted, uploads are validated, and access is limited to what each role needs. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new date. Material changes will be announced by email to venue owners.
